Attendance Information

Irregular attendance is one of the major constraints in maintaning a quality educational program for high schools students.

Attendance is taken every day in every period. If it is necessary for your student to be absent, it is very imperative that he or she is excused properly and in a timely manner by the parent or guardian. As easy as it seems to write a valid note to excuse the student, it is very challenging to keep accurate accounting because of the incomplete notes received at the Attendance Office window.

Notes MUST contain the following information:

the first and last name of the student
the student's grade level
the dates of the absence (please verify the correct dates by using a calendar)
the reason for the absence
the signature of the parent/guardian

All students MUST have a readmit from the Attendance Office to return to class.
