education teachers) must be No Child Left Behind
(NCLB) compliant. Core subjects are:
elementary-multiple subjects assignment; secondary –
English, reading/language arts, math, science, civics and government,
economics, arts, foreign language, history and geography. Also, candidates for all teaching positions
must possess English Learner certification.
