The District is not responsible for coordinating or supervising tutor service. Any tutor arrangements (including payment arrangements) are made between the parent/guardian and the tutor and are independent of the District.

Looking for free one-on-one assistance at the high school and middle school level? Tutors are available during the school year in Chemistry, Pre-Algebra through Calculus, and Physics . Call the Adult Reference Desk in advance to sign up at (949) 830-7100, extension 5105, and be sure to leave your name, school, and phone number.  Come prepared with questions, your textbook, a pencil, paper, and any other materials needed. Tutoring sessions focus on learning general topics rather than completing specific homework assignments.  There is no charge for this service.

Tutoring Help for Elementary Students

Does your child need help with their elementary school homework or research?  Qualified volunteers offer free homework help at the Mission Viejo Library during the school year for 2nd - 6th grade students.  The Homework Center is open Wednesday afternoons from 3:15 PM to 6:30 PM beginning September 9th.  Sign up for appointments up to one week in advance at the Youth Reference Desk.  For more information, call (949) 830-7100, extension 5107.
