I have a new student, what should I do?
  • Kindergarten students should be 5 by November 1, 2012.
  • Find your school of assignment by clicking here.
  • Contact your school of assignment and register there.
  • SVUSD will be enrolling Kindergarten students for Fall 2012 during our annual Kindergarten Round-Up, which will be held the week of April 30 to May 4, 2012.  Please contact your assigned school for the hours of registration.  Parents who have completed a Choice application are asked to register their Kindergarten child at their assigned school of attendance during the Kindergarten Round-Up week.  This registration will not affect Choice status and will help the District with enrollment figures.  Please call 949/580-3238 if you have any questions.
  • SVUSD will offer a Transitional Kindergarten program for children whose birthdays fall between November 2, 2007, and December 2, 2007.  If there is space available, children with earlier birthdays may apply to participate in this program.  Sites where the program will be offered and registration details should be announced by early March.
  • The Learning Connection (TLC) Before and & After School Child Care is available through the Child Care Services Department.
Students will need:
  • immunization record
  • birth certificate
  • proof of residency– usually two current utility bills – telephone bills not accepted

  • Name and address of previous school.
  • When registering, please let the school know if your child was enrolled in any special programs
