HOME TO SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION 2009-2010

Due
to the States severe fiscal crisis and budget cuts, it is necessary to reduce
home-to-school transportation.
These reductions do not apply to any Special Education bussing. The only schools receiving limited
services for Home-to-School transportation are:

this time the only school with available seating is Serrano Intermediate.

Except
for Serrano Intermediate School, applicants who complete the Transportation
Application Form will be placed on a waiting list. If a seat becomes available the next person on the list will
be notified. Please do not call or
e-mail if you are placed on a waiting list. You will be contacted by the
district if and when a space becomes available either by your e-mail address
you provided or your phone number.

must complete a Transportation Application Form to be considered for
transportation services. Please

SALE
OF BUS PASSES
Once
selected for a bus pass the parent/guardian of the student must come to the Saddleback
Valley Unified School Bus Pass Office located at 25631 Peter A. Hartman Way in
the city of Mission Viejo to purchase a bus pass.

Qualifications
for free and reduced bus passes are also available at http://www.svusd.org/p_home.asp?tid=4474. In
order to qualify for free and reduced bus passes one or more of the following
information must be presented.
ό Proof of residence. Original (non-copied) water,
electrical, gas bill or valid picture ID
ό Federal and State Income
Tax Return Form from 2008
ό Two current and
consecutive paystubs from each working adult
ό Calworks verification
ό Current Proof of Foster
Care assignment from state or county
ό Food stamp advantage cord
and current month grocery receipt
