Parents: Be On the Lookout!
For Progress and Grade Reports
Grade reports are mailed home eight (8) times during the school year --at the middle of each quarter and at the end of each quarter. These reports are a crucial means of communication from teachers to parents regarding student progress and parents should be aware and expecting these reports according to the schedule below. If a report is not received within one week of the mailing date (beware of mysteriously intercepted mail...), the parent should contact the guidance office for a duplicate report. All reports are considered progress reports except the report at the end of the second quarter, which is the permanent record for the 1st semester, and the report at the end of the 4th quarter which is the permanent grade at the end of the 2nd semester. Please note that teachers are only required to report grades of C- or lower on the mid-quarter progress reports, so these reports will most likely not contain grades from every teacher. No mark for your student on a mid-quarter progress report would therefore indicate that you student is earning a C grade or better in the class.
