AMFC is a unique program that allows our LHHS students a monthly opportunity to visit younger students at Esperanza, Lomarena, San Joaquin and Valencia Elementary schools. During these visits, our mentors read a story that contains a specific character trait and discuss how that value applies to their lives in school, on the playing fields, and in their homes. Many mentors bring in their sports equipment and involve the children in sports techniques and games to instill that particular value as stated in the story read that day.

Through this mentoring program, we hope to fuel the upcoming high school students/athletes with the correct spirit that is so important in keeping the game fun, safe and successful.
